Funeral services will be Monday May 18, 2026 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Jon Atchison officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Sunday May 17th from 3 to 8 PM and on Monday from 11 AM until time of service.

Tonya Melissa Grisham Atchison, age 59 of Dickson, TN passed away Thursday May 14, 2026. Born in Madison, TN on January 5, 1967 she was the daughter of the late Harold Lee Grisham and Wanda Sue Allen Rawls and was preceded in death by her son, Shane Etheridge and her father-in-law, Ed Atchison. Tonya worked as an Administrative Specialist for the Davidson County Election Commission.

Survivors include her husband, Shawn Atchison of Dickson, TN; daughters, Jennifer Atchison of Dickson, TN, Shawna Phillips of Lobelville, TN; brothers, Harold Lee Grisham of Lyles, TN, James Casey Grisham of White Bluff, TN; sister, Tessa Marie Willhite of McEwen, TN; step-father, Kenneth Edward Rawls (Donna) of South Carolina; step-sisters, Jennifer Andrews and Tammy Johns both of White House, TN; mother-in-law, Brenda Atchison of Benton, AR; grandchildren, Braxton Etheridge, Tucker Styles, Oaklynn Phillips, Edan Phillips; her fur babies, Jackson and Cooper; several nieces and nephews.

  3. You and I were best friends instantly in grammer school. We grew up together and we stayed at each other’s house constantly. I’m thankful for the memories and the fact that God gave me you as long as he did . Total shock to me when I checked an email today and found out that you were gone. I will always remember you, and love you. Rest easy, Beautiful Angel.
