Memorial services will be held at Compassion Church in McEwen, on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 4PM. Visitation will take place on Friday beginning at 3PM until time of service. Pastor Scott Worley will officiate. There will be a meal at 5:30PM and release of paper lanterns, in her honor, from 6:30-7PM.
Vicki D. (Atchison) Nichols, age 73, of McEwen, TN, passed away on September 12, 2026.
Vicki was born on September 16, 1952, in Humphreys County, TN to the late Edward Earl Atchison and Dorothy Catherine Webb Baker. A golden heart that loved and adored her kids, loved all those grand babies with all her heart, nieces, nephews and anyone else that touched her heart in so many ways. She had so many friends and never met a stranger. Her favorite times were fishing, floating the river and making great memories with her children. She loved to play bingo as well. She loved her iced tea, a cold Pepsi, bologna with mustard and the love of her fur babies; Chicico, Muffin Pie, Nichols, Simon Nichol & BB Boy. She loved those at the nursing home, Dickson Health and Rehab, dearest friends she called family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Atchison, her mother, Dorothy Baker (Doug).
She is survived by her daughter, Mona Kaye Atchison, her sons, Brian E. Atchison (Henry), Anthony W. Atchison, her siblings, Gary Atchison (Karren), DD & Steven Petty, Delta Shawn Atchison, Loretta Jean McKim (Bruce), Jon Atchison (Joy), Dean Ryion, Jimmy Ryion, stepmother, Brenda Atchison, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews.
