Mr. William Galya, age 95 of Burns died Monday February 8, 2016. His wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held at Redeemer Presbyterian Church at a later date.
Born in Czechoslovakia he was the son of the late Andrew and Teresa Galya and was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Lucille Shuffield Galya. He was a retired Machinist and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his sons, William A. Galya of Miami, FL, Robert Galya and his wife Ann of Dickson, Thomas Galya and his wife Shirley of Dickson; daughter, Jane Amoroso and her husband Mark of Dickson; grandchildren, Scott & Jessica Galya, Tracy & Raymond Jacomo, Elena Amoroso, Terri Baker, Katherine & Eric McKenzie, Bobby & Maria Freeman; great grandchildren, Lane, Rilee, Ethan, Willow, Josiah & Kasidi Baker, Brett & Emily Freeman, Aidan & Graeme MeKenzie.
